Millennium Future Arts & Crafts Festival
Two days to encounter contemporary crafts!
Exhibition, market, workshops.
A festival of crafts where you can meet artisans and their skills!
More than 100 craftspeople from all over Japan, including traditional craftsmen and crafters, will gather in Echizen City!
This is an exhibition and market event that aims to familiarize visitors with handicrafts and pass them on to the next generation while allowing them to experience the skills, products, and personalities of the craftspeople.
Echizen City has been a center of crafts for over 1,500 years, and we aim to pass on the charm and excellence of handicrafts to the next millennium through crafts, craft workshops, and other activities, hand in hand with artisans from all over Japan. We are committed to passing on the charm and excellence of handcrafts to the future for a millennium.
