Millennium Future Arts & Crafts Festival
Two days to discover contemporary crafts!!
Exhibitions, market, workshops.
A festival of craftsmanship where you can meet artisans and their skills
Over 100 artisans from across Japan—including traditional craftsmen and craft artists—gather in Echizen City!
This exhibition and market event aims to bring handmade crafts closer to people by letting them experience the techniques, products, and personalities of the artisans, while also fostering the next generation of craftspeople.
From Echizen City, a hub of craftsmanship where traditions have flowed continuously for 1,500 years to the present, we join hands with artisans nationwide. Through crafts, workshops, and more, we aim to transcend regions and cultures, passing on the charm and wonder of handmade work to the future a thousand years from now.
