In addition to providing tourist information focused on downtown Fukui City, we offer services such as temporary luggage storage (for a fee, 9:00 AM–4:30 PM) and the sale of Fukui Railway tickets (afternoons only).We also offer rentals of rain gear, wheelchairs (free of charge), strollers (“Babycar”—advance registration required, fee applies), and electric-assist bicycles (fee applies), as well as scheduled guided tours (twice daily on weekends and holidays: 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM).

The "Fukui Tourist Information Center," which handles information on the entire Fukui Prefecture, is also located on the east side of Fukui Station.

[About Temporary Luggage Storage]

　Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Information Center closes at 5:00 PM)

　Fees: ① Standard Size (Max. 60 cm per side, total of three sides up to 155 cm) - 600 yen per item per day

　　　　　　　② Large Size (Max. 61 cm per side, total of three sides 156 cm or more) 800 yen per item per day

　　　　　　　　* Items with unusual shapes, such as strollers or bicycles in special cases, are classified as large size.

　Storage Period: Generally, same-day only

　　　　　　　Please contact us if you wish to store your luggage for multiple days.

　　　　　　　In such cases, you must pay the usage fee for the entire duration in advance.

　　　　　　　no refunds will be issued.

　Items We Cannot Store

　　　　　　　Cash, valuables, refrigerated or frozen items, hazardous materials, fragile items, etc.

[About Stroller Rentals]

　We use a rental service called "Babycal" that allows for advance reservations.

　Rentals are available for a minimum of 1 hour up to a maximum of 7 days,

　and you will be charged only for the time you use it.

　In addition to standard strollers, we also offer strollers modeled after the Hokuriku Shinkansen "Kagayaki" and the 923 "Doctor Yellow" trains.

　We highly recommend them for sightseeing within the prefecture!
