Adjacent to the city center about 2 km from JR Tsuruga Station, you can experience a familiar natural landscape that evokes nostalgia, where medaka fish and diving beetles inhabit the small stream and fireflies flit about in summer. Over 2,000 species of plants and animals adapted to diverse environments have been confirmed, including more than 70 species of dragonflies.
