The Takefu Chrysanthemum Dolls, held annually from early October to early November, is an autumn tradition in Hokuriku!

This year's theme is " Connecting HAPPINESS STORY with Chrysanthemums -Fairy Tale World and Friends- ".

In conjunction with the 20th anniversary of the city's municipal organization, a world of celebration based on fairy tales will be expressed.

During the period, as many as 20,000 chrysanthemums will be in full bloom at Takefu Central Park in Echizen City, where the event will be held, and visitors will be able to see chrysanthemum works in which chrysanthemum lovers compete their skills and chrysanthemum dolls decorated with the skillful techniques of chrysanthemum masters.

An art garden with chrysanthemum animals and one of Japan's largest bear jumbo topiaries are also on display. Other scheduled events include the operation of a carousel, monorail, and other large playground equipment, a food court where visitors can taste Echizen City's gourmet food, Kikurin Market where visitors can buy souvenirs, and weekend events for children and adults.

The Takefu Review Show by the OSK Nippon Opera Company, a singing and dancing enchantment, will also be held during the festival.
